Mr. Johnson - Grade TK Teacher
Mr. Johnson is thrilled to be part of the Global Learning Charter team. He’s been a primary teacher for Visalia Unified since 2001, specializing in kindergarten and TK. When not teaching, he can be found writing music, gardening, and scuba diving. Mr. Johnson is married to his high school sweetheart and has two teenage daughters. The entire family enjoys travel, camping and everything Star Wars. Mr. Johnson is looking forward to beginning a bluegrass club at GLC.

Caitlyn Moreno - Grade K Teacher
I am excited to be a first-year teacher at Global Learning Charter. I graduated from Fresno State with my bachelors and preliminary credentials in May 2022. I am looking forward to this year and learning from my students along the way. In my free time, I love to listen to music and sing. I also love spending time with my family.
Ms. Demello- Grade 1 Teacher
Ms. Demello has been apart of the GLC family since 2021. She received her A.S. from College of the Sequoias, and her B.A. and multiple subject teaching credential from Fresno Pacific University. She loves building connections with students and helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Ms. Demello enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and playing board games.
Ms. Dudley- Grade 1 TeacherI am very proud to be part of the GLC team. I earned my BA and Teaching Credential from Fresno State. I have an MS degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. In the classroom, I love listening to students' mathematical thinking. I enjoy having students work collaboratively so they can learn and grow from each other. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, and crafting.
Ms. Mohs - Grade 2 TeacherMs. Mohs is excited to be part of GLC. She was happy to be part of its formation, serving as a member of the charter development committee. Ms. Mohs has been an educator since 1991 and has been part of Visalia Unified since 1996. She received her B.A. from the University of San Francisco, her teaching credential from Fresno Pacific, and her M.A. from Fresno State. She loves all aspects of teaching young learners, but has a special place in her heart for ensuring that all students learn math with understanding. She is delighted to say she has learned as much about math from her students as they have learned from her. In her life away from school, Ms. Mohs enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, nature photography, and spending time in Cambria, CA.
Mrs. Dunlap - Grade 2 Teacher
Teaching is my passion! My family has my heart, and my four-legged babies give me pure joy! I was born in South Korea but lived in the United States most of my life. I grew up in Nebraska and call Fairbury my hometown. I graduated from Doane University, and I have been teaching since 1995. I have taught grade K-3rd. I love teaching young minds and seeing their lightbulb moments. I see every day as an adventure for learning, growth, and laughter.
Mrs. Quinn - Grade 3 Teacher
Mrs. Quinn has been with Visalia Unified since 2008. She began at Visalia Unified as an instructional aide at Veva Blunt and decided to go back to school to pursue becoming a teacher. Mrs. Quinn taught at Ivanhoe and Royal Oaks Elementary before joining the GLC family. Mrs. Quinn received her undergraduate degree and teaching credential from Fresno Pacific. She also has a preliminary administrative credential and a Master´s Degree in Administrative Services. Mrs. Quinn loves coming to work every day because she is passionate about her students, helping them grow towards meeting their academic goals and becoming even better people - which will impact everyone they come into contact with. Mrs. Quinn loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, whether it be hiking, playing games, or simply watching TV. Mrs. Quinn considers herself beyond blessed in every aspect of her life.

Mr. Quinn - Grade 4 Teacher
Mr. Quinn is very excited to be apart of the GLC family. He enjoys learning new ways to help students be creative and innovative. Mr. Quinn enjoys spending his free time with his wife, 3 sons, and daughter-in-law. Some of his hobbies include playing the piano, playing chess, and gardening.
Ms. Hart - Grade 4 Teacher
I have been part of Visalia Unified since 2016. I began as a substitute teacher and in 2022 I began my career as a fulltime teacher at GLC. I am proud to be part of GLC as it is much more than just “a job”, GLC is a community of amazing people and has become my family. My background and Bachelor’s Degree is in Social Work and through my internship at CASA of Tulare County I came to the realization that teaching is where my passion lies. I strongly believe that every child deserves to be seen and accepted just as they. My love and passion for helping children succeed in their present and future selves is my reason for teaching. Outside of teaching I love spending time with my husband and 3 teenagers. Together as a family we love adventure and spending time in nature. We love to hike around and camp in the Sequoias and Kings Canyon.

Ms. Hogue - Grade 5 Teacher
Ms. Hogue is very excited to be part of VUSD and the GLC team. Ms. Hogue earned her Bachelor's Degree and Teaching credential through Fresno Pacific University. Ms. Hogue feels so blessed to be living out her dream of teaching and helping students develop a love of learning. In her free time, Ms. Hogue likes to read, garden, and go for walks. Ms. Hogue enjoys spending time with her husband, their four children, and her many pets!

Ms. Mitchell - Grade 6 Teacher
Mrs. Mitchell is thrilled to be a part of the GLC family! Originally from Visalia, she attended elementary school at Royal Oaks, middle school at Green Acres, and high school at Redwood. Mrs. Mitchell went on to COS for two years and then completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology through Fresno Pacific University. She went on to earn her teaching credential through FPU and has been teaching fifth and sixth graders in VUSD for the past seven years. Her interests include baking, all sorts of art forms, playing music, making up songs and poems, and rescuing animals as often as possible! Mrs. Mitchell enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and three dogs. She is beyond excited to build connections with the amazing GLC community and is certain this year will be one to remember!
Ms. Stagg- Grade 7/8 Teacher

Ms. Morones - Grade 7/8 Teacher
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Ms. Morones grew up wanting to be a teacher for as long as she could remember. Having struggled through school all her life, it brings her immense joy to help others persevere and find success. Through hard work, she changed the trajectory of her family tree and became the first person in her family to go to college. She is a seasoned teacher who has had the privilege of teaching in diverse settings and schools. She is high- energy, firm, and equipped with a sense of humor. Helping others direct their family tree toward growth and positive change is her passion.
Ms. Lemon - Grade 7/8 Teacher
Mrs. Lemon is delighted to join the GLC staff for the 2021-2022 school year! Mrs. Lemon is familiar with VUSD, as she was raised in Visalia, where she attended Charter Oak, Divisadero, and Mt. Whitney High School. Before receiving her teaching credential from Brandman University, Ms. Lemon received her B.S. in Business Accounting and MBA. Mrs. Lemon enjoys spending time with her husband, their 6 children, and 3 cats (Fluffy, Horus, and Osiris). In her spare time she likes to crochet, sew, cook, and vacation with her family to Cascade, Idaho.
Ms. Rodriguez - Spanish Teacher
Ms. Rodriguez started teaching in the year 2000 at Fairview Elementary. She taught 1st-4th grades, but spent the majority of her time in 2nd-3rd grades. The first few years, Ms. Rodriguez taught in a bilingual classroom. Ms. Rodriguez said that the best thing about her job is that there is never a boring moment. Every day is unique and exciting! Her hobbies include cooking and visiting her family. She enjoys going to the beach and also reading children’s books. Ms. Rodriguez grew up here in the Central Valley and went to Ivanhoe School, Valley Oak, and Orosi High School. She lives with her husband and three children.
Ms. Yates - Intervention Teacher
Ms. Yates is proud to be a part of the GLC staff, having joined us in 2023 as a math intervention teacher. Her teaching career began in 2001. Since then she has held various roles, including upper elementary classroom teacher, reading and math intervention specialist, and teacher coach. Ms. Yates earned her Bachelor's Degree from UC Davis, her teaching credential from CSU Sacramento, and her Master's Degree in Administrative Services from CSU Fresno. Teaching math is her passion! She loves seeing the pride and confidence that develop in students as they discover new math concepts and use their reasoning to solve problems. These problem-solving skills will empower our students to become the innovative leaders of our future. Outside of work, Ms. Yates enjoys spending time with her husband, teenage daughter, and son playing games, hiking and traveling to new places.

Ms. Martinez - K-2 Science/ELA Teacher
Mrs. Martinez is joined the GLC team for the 2022-23 school year! Born and raised in Lindsay, she has now lived in Visalia for the past 22 years. Mrs. Martinez began her profession in education as a paraprofessional in 2004 at a small K-8 School here in Tulare County. While working as a paraprofessional she earned her Bachelor's degree from Chapman University in Social Sciences. From there she earned her multiple subject teaching credential and a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis on Elementary Education from Chapman University. Mrs. Martinez has taught K, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades over the course of 13 years. She most recently taught 2nd grade for 7 years at Liberty Elementary School and spent one additional year as their Reading Intervention Teacher. She strongly believes in the philosophy that all children can learn when given the right tools. Educators must help to guide them and spark their love for learning. Mrs. Martinez enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 children. She loves swimming, taking small trips throughout California, and enriching her life through new experiences any chance she gets.
Ms. Rasner - Learning Director
Ms. Rasner began her teaching career at Los Angeles Unified School District, where she taught first through third grades for ten years. After returning to the Central Valley, she continued teaching for ten more years before moving into an administrative role. Deeply committed to the vision of Visalia Unified School District, where her own children thrive, Ms. Rasner is proud to serve as the Learning Director at Global Learning Charter School. She is dedicated to creating an environment where students excel academically, morally, and socially, while promoting inquiry-based learning and critical thinking. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening.
Ms. Wynn - Principal
Ms. Wynn joined the Global Learning Charter School team in 2020-2021. She was born and raised in Visalia where she attended Crestwood, Divisadero and Mt. Whitney. While attending Fresno State, Ms. Wynn received her BA in Liberal Studies and her credential from Fresno Pacific University. She then went on to teach for several years. While teaching, she went back to Fresno State and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, along with her Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. Ms. Wynn has taught for 13 years in grades 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th.
Ms. Flores - Assistant Principal
Mrs. Flores, a dedicated educator raised in Visalia, has deep roots in the community. She attended schools within the Visalia Unified School District before pursuing her education at Fresno State, where she earned a BA in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential. With a passion for teaching, she has served many years within VUSD, continually enriching her expertise. Mrs. Flores furthered her education at Fresno Pacific, obtaining a master's degree in administration, and subsequently earned an administrative credential from the same institution. Her journey reflects a commitment to education and a profound impact on the students and community she serves in Visalia.
