2024-25 Enrollment
Enrollment Request Forms for the 2024-25 school year are currently being accepted.
Enrollment request forms submitted after 2/23/24 will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Eligibility
As a charter school, GLC is open to all students in the county, and contiguous counties, and does not require intra- or inter-district agreements. Students are admitted regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, economic status, or achievement level. GLC cannot charge tuition or require donations or in-kind contributions (such as volunteering) as a condition for enrollment.
Please note that there are no preferences for admission based on current or previous Visalia Unified neighborhood school boundaries. All students, regardless of address, must complete the Enrollment Request Form to be considered for admission. Submitting the application during the open enrollment period provides the best opportunity for admission.
Open Enrollment
Each year, the school extends an Open Enrollment period during which all applications submitted receive equal opportunity for admission. If applications do not exceed available seats, all applicants are admitted. If applications exceed space, a public random drawing ("lottery") is held. The open enrollment period for the 2024-25 academic year opens on Monday, 1/8/24, and will end on Friday, 2/23/24.

If you are interested in your child attending GLC, please complete the enrollment request form below. You will be notified if a seat is available or if your child has been placed on a waitlist. Waitlists are kept for the entirety of the academic year noted on the enrollment request form.
Timeline
January 8, 2024- Open Enrollment Admission Window Opens
February 23, 2024 - Open Enrollment Admissions Window Closes (Forms submitted after this date will be offered admission as available in the order that the applications were received and in accordance with the charter’s enrollment procedures)
March 1, 2024- Public Random Drawing
Late March - Status notification for student applications submitted during Open Enrollment. Admitted families will receive enrollment paperwork. Those not admitted will be placed on the waitlist to be notified of enrollment opportunities when vacancies occur.
